Honorary citizen of Le Mans

File created by Rick Wilson during the awarding of the title of Honorary Citizen of the city of Le Mans to Jacky in 2000, in recognition of his performances and his six victories at Le Mans during all these years.

Ford GT40

Porsche 956 - 962

With the models 956 (1982-1984) and 962 (1985-1989) - all created under the direction of project manager Norbert Singer - Porsche will win five world championships for manufacturers and drivers. These sports cars will win six victories at Le Mans.

Mirage M2 - M3

The Mirage M1 with large Ford engines being banned from the circuits from 1968, the Gulf team, in order to support its GT 40, launched a 3-liter. Sub-motorized, these M2-BRMs were of no help to John Wyer, but the M3-Cosworth recorded a victory anyway!

Ferrari 312 PB

When the FIA radically changed the regulations for sports cars at the end of 1967, the entire fleet of Ferrari Sport-Prototypes had become unusable. The disappointing results of Formula 1 during the 1968 season saw the return of the Scuderia to prototypes, with a one-year delay in development.

Ferrari 512 S et M

At the end of 1969, Enzo Ferrari presented the first of his 5-litre 512S sports cars: a new challenge against the last born of Porsche, the 917.

Ferrari 312 B

1970: it is with this very successful single-seater that Ferrari enters the era of opposed 12-cylinder engines with a displacement of 3 liters.
